Artist Behind Kaleido

Jessica Yuan

Artist· Educator · Founder of Kaleido Art Studio

Jessica Yuan is an artist and educator based in Sydney, known for helping young students develop independent thinking, creativity, and a strong visual voice.

Jessica maintains a selective teaching approach, she guides students to observe, question and interpret.  Her classes are intentionally structured yet open-ended balancing technical discipline with creative freedom.

Her approach is simple; Every child learns differently. Jessica's curriculum is designed to move beyond "copying", focusing on observation and independent thinking.

Over time, students begin to develop:

Confidence in self-expression

Independent thinking through art

Deeper way of observing the world
Sensitivity to aesthetics and composition

At Kaleido, students don't just learn how to draw, they begin to see the world differently
